Dear Valued Partners,

Over the last few days, the South African Government has updated the Essential Services Regulations. Three of the changes that impact Axiz are the following:

  1. Information and Communication Technology services rendered to entities and institutions engaged in delivering Essential Services, are now considered “Essential”;
  1. ICT Devices, including desktops, laptops and modems, may now be provided to Higher Education Institutions;
  1. All COVID-19 Lockdown CIPC Certificates issued at the beginning of the lockdown period expired on the 17th of April 2020. Axiz has received our new COVID-19 Lockdown CIPC Certificate for the extended period, which now categorizes Axiz as an ICT entity providing services to Entities of Essential Services.

Where physical response is required, we would like to assure our Partners that we will continue to asses each order received to ensure that we promptly respond to any Essential Services entities, as outlined in the Regulations as updated from time to time. Otherwise, Partners are welcome to place orders for delivery after Lockdown during this time.

All orders that do not require physical delivery, such as Software and Cloud services that are delivered virtually have continued as usual.

We will continue to keep you updated of any Axiz Policy changes that will affect our service delivery to you.

We thank you for your continued support in this time.

Kind Regards,

Team Axiz
